- We create food hampers; any items of food that are not fresh are accepted.
Our website allows you to register your donation and see what our need for the year is. The “need” is the number of referrals against genders and ages in Teesside.
Register your donation so that we know what to expect and we know that referral is going to be completed.
Our website is: https://www.teessideatchristmas.co.uk/donate
We are asking for your help in identifying your donation. To ensure we have a quick and accurate understanding regarding who your donation is aimed towards, please use a small piece of paper or sticky note and cellotape, and on it write:
- Age - Gender
- Donation ID (if you have it)
- Zone Number (if you have it)
Our main big drop-off day is:
7th December, 9am - 4pm
St Hildas Church, Redcar (Roseberry Road)
You can even have a cup of tea, coffee, and/or a snack whilst there!
We may also have alternative drop-off points on our website when you register.
Yes, this is fantastic news! Your help will be invaluable. We understand it can be difficult to register group donations.
If you don’t know how many donations you will collect as a group, you do not have to register your donation. Just bring them along with appropriate labels on the drop-off day.
Alternatively, you can register in batches or ask your friends, colleagues, or family to each register individually before they start their donation. They can then leave all donations with the organiser who can bring them on drop-off day, all together. Donations can be individual items or full shoeboxes/giftbags.
Please contact us if you have any questions or queries: enquiries@teessideatchristmas.co.uk
Unfortunately not. We used to accept second-hand items, but this was abused, and it isn’t fair to those we are trying to collect for. The referrals will otherwise receive nothing this Christmas; this could be their only gift. Therefore, we ask for new items only.
We can collect from our designated drop-off points. Otherwise, we would respectfully request you to drop off with us on the drop-off day.
